Re: See Ethan in a Sombrero
As I rewatch it, we have so many mistakes in our Spanish it's funny.

Re: See Ethan in a Sombrero
I'm only 5'9".
The music in the background was a requirement for the project, otherwise I wouldn't have had it either.
Doing this project made my appreciate my Mac a lot. I (of course) was doing this the night before. I tried for three hours to get the camcorder to work with my family's PC, expecting plug-n-play from Windows. Well, it turns out I needed some app that was included with the camera, that I did not have. The support lines were closed for Labor Day, so I was stuck.
I drove down to Circuit City (a local computer shoppe) and bought a Firewire cord for my camera. I plugged it into my Mac, iMovie detected it, and presto! iMovie made editing very easy, and one click to put the whole project in iDVD, which was also easy to use. A few clicks and I had a menu with music and burned onto a DVD.
I was just surprised the camera wasn't plug-n-play with Windows, because like every device I've owned has easily worked with Windows.

Re: See Ethan in a Sombrero
Well, in TV production and speech/debate we were told to look at the camera and try to keep some eye contact.
If you watch what we do, it's pretty much what we say. Some words that don't go with it are despues (next), entonces (then), and entrantando (meanwhile).

Re: See Ethan in a Sombrero
It was an assignment to practice giving formal commands, which is rather odd.
Rather than saying informal (which I always do) we had to use formal. So easy words became hard ones:
pon (put) - ponga
saca (take out) - saque
habla (speak) - hable
So that was the whole point of the assignment, plus to have another fiesta where we bring in all the food.
How are they all fat? Erica's a tad large, but Nikita and Ashley are not. It was a good group because none of us were slackers.

Re: See Ethan in a Sombrero
they didn't imidiately strike me as fat but you do look a little anorexic. But then alot of my friends are quite big, very big infact, and a few are very very very thin so i guess thats normal. I'm kinda in the middle but I hide me weight well due to my hight.

It was funny to note the differences in all of our Spanish. For example, two of the members said 'll' as a 'y' and the other member and I say it like a 'j'.

I know, I just answered you in Spanish and extended that to an unrelated question.
