I suggest you should have leeds101.co.uk or such.

hmmm, not bad. the only thing going against it really is that the site will probably not be based on leeds, especially when i hopefully go to university in newcastle but it is probably the leader at the moment

yeah. also considering getting hosting from godaddy. it is cheaper than what i am currently paying and you get more for your money so might get the hosting then get the domain for $1.99 or watever the offer is

I have had good business with them as a domain registrar, so I would suspect that their hosting service would be just as good. smile

Hard to say though, web hosting is a different cup of tea, and I have heard that the domain registrars tend to be poor at web hosting. Domain resellers might be better, but then that's because they had to add value to their middlemen business.

well i am currently with reseller zoom. might stick with the same host at the moment. dont want to change to much in one go lol

yeah, i havent had any problems with them except load times are sometimes quite slow. well i will see. sorting the domain out first is probably more important
