Recently Microsoft reported that when installing Netscape 8, Internet Explorer has issues rendering XML pages. According to Microsoft they're working out the issues with Netscape. As a quick solution they advised to uninstall Netscape. Typical.
Anti-Microsoft activist have already criticized the corporation for poor marketing skills, attempting to keep users with Internet Explorer. They claim that the error is on Microsoft's behalf and that they're using it as an excuse to keep users.
We also learn that Netscape, who claims to be a secure application, edits the registry. This usually doesn't indicate security. You also have to ask yourself how installing an application can mess with a highly integrated application in the operating system? Seems slightly far-fetched.
